nnOur client is a $30B Asset Manager/Private Equity Fund currently seeking to add a talented AVP/Senior Finance Associate for one of their new launched Funds.

This position has recently been approved due to growth.

Ideal individual will straddle the following responsibilities; Tax, Reporting, Accounting and Financial Operations, reporting directly to CFO. nn nn n nn nnIdeal candidate must be confident reviewing and preparing Firm Financials and  Accounting/Reporting; opportunity will include the following daily responsibilities nn nn n nn nn Responsibilities: nn nn n nn  Assist portfolio valuations efforts including portfolio optimization, risk analytics, performance attribution, and risk/liability management  Conduct financial analysis on financial statements in order to isolate troubled assets and develop remediation protocols  Calculate capital calls and distributions as requested by general partner.

Prepare and review tax waterfall and allocations of investment partnerships.

Prepare and post all journal entries and prepare monthly trial balance, balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flow reports.  Prepare daily net capital computation and daily P&L reporting Perform financial statement preparation, cash and position reconciliations, entering income/expense accruals, preparing capital allocation schedules, and sending investor correspondence regarding account balances Collaborate with CFO/Controller on preparation of firm reporting and intracompany reconciliation process Perform daily general ledger functions such as cash and trading account reconciliation Responsible for implementing efficiencies across all facets of middle-office operations and accounting areas.

nn n nn nn Desired Skills and Professional Experience nn nn n nn Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of (Accounting/Audit/Tax) industry experience CPA or CPA in progress highly preferred Prior experience with Tax Accounting/Reporting required Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management Technical skills; Advanced Excel/VBA and Portfolio Accounting Software (Geneva/Aexeo/Investran) preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven dynamic environment Innovative and creative thinker
