The role will sit within the Wealth Management Risk function and report to the Executive Director- Data Security & Infrastructure Risk, based in Purchase, New York.Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:Vendor Risk* Focus on governance and oversight to identify, assess, mitigate and report third party risk for the Wealth Management division* Identify, develop and drive implementation of risk measurement techniques and capabilities, including details of key risk indicators, thresholds, and triggers, and response and mitigation requirements to manage Wealth Management’s third party risk* Assess existing and emerging third party risks related to cyber, cloud computing, security and resiliency in a rapidly evolving threat environment* Spearhead the Wealth Management program to facilitate review of Asset Managers from an Information Security perspective to ensure the third parties have safeguards in place to protect firm and client data* Regular interaction with subject matter experts and senior management to collect and validate inputs for Vendor/Third-party Risk initiatives* Create and implement novel approaches to training and education on vendor management* Continue to stay on top of industry trends in terms of vendor management and risk management* Provide status reports to senior management, auditors and regulators* Perform ad hoc analyses and participate in special projects as needed by managementQualifications & Skills Required* Bachelor’s Degree required* 5 years’ experience in financial industry and/or business management.* Specific experience in Vendor/Third Party Risk Management, Operational Risk, Compliance and/or Audit a plus.* Ability to use desktop tools to perform analyses and develop presentations for senior management. Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.* Strong listening and verbal/written communications with ability to tailor message to audience* Proven ability to work across departments to influence others and build strong relationships* Demonstrated leadership in setting strategy and driving an agenda* Strong process management skills* Ability to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives* Ability to work independently and possess a strong sense of accountability/ownership* Strong organizational and analytical skills
