Patient Service Associate (PSA)/Home Health Care Schedule Coordinator A leading home health care company is looking for a Patient Service Associate (PSA) in Peekskill, NY.

The Patient Service Associate (PSA) interviews, hires and orients new field staff, fills orders, assigns field staff personnel and records and updates compliance requirements for field staff.

Essential Job Functions: 1.

Interviews, hires and orients new field staff.

2.

Ensures compliance with corporate policies and federal, state and local regulations 3.

Assists with insurance verification accuracy.

4.

Works directly with Supervisory RN in scheduling all branch in-service training programs.

5.

Coordinates field staff assignments to meet patient/facility needs.

6.

Actively answers and records inquiries.

7.

Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement activities .

8.

Maintains communication with client referral sources.

9.

Reinforces recognition in the community as the provider of home care and staff services through contract and patient contract.

10.

Assists in payroll and billing functions Candidates must possess: Basic computer literacy.

Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and handle detailed work.

Excellent interpersonal, interview and telephone courtesy skills and clear verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and set priorities.

Knowledge of people management techniques and decision making skills.
