Summary: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) performs a wide variety of duties including sales support, order entry, telephone coverage, email coverage, troubleshooting, reporting, and all aspects of customer support. The CSR is adept in both verbal and written communication skills, is highly organized, and is able to prioritize work effectively. The CSR exemplifies the company’s core values through every interaction and transaction.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Handles customer requests on existing orders.*
  • Handles the order entry of customer orders received by telephone, fax or email.*
  • Provides customers with quotes on merchandise.*
  • Contacts vendors in regards to back orders, customer returns, product information and product support.*
  • Answers incoming telephone calls and assists or routes to the correct party.*
  • Troubleshoots problems with customer deliveries.*
  • Coordinate other various skills and needs as necessary for customers or colleagues internally

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook and DDMS.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
