MTI Instruments, Inc is currently looking for a Sales Support Associate. This position is customer-facing, with a mission to serve as a support liaison for the MTI Instruments, Inc product lines. The principal responsibility will be to assure customer satisfaction with pre and post sales follow-up and to provide phone and email support to customers within a timely manner.

The Sales Support Associate will also perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:

• Administer sales activity from quote to purchase order in a timely manner.
• Communicate directly with customers regarding new orders and repairs.
• Follow-up with sales channels to seek forecasting information and deal progress.
• Track metrics from sales channels, domestic and international.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and compliance with export regulations.
• Process any outstanding orders, while keeping customers fully updated of progress.
• Manage customer product returns and RMA matters.
• Interface, as appropriate, to internal personnel and liaison with engineering, production, other departments, and branches as required.
• Operate in accordance with operational, quality and standards policies ensuring compliance with established procedures.
• Support members of the sales team, including outside reps and distributors with mailing literature, brochures, demo equipment, return authorization forms and miscellaneous requests.
• Support the Sales Support Manager and Sales Team in various projects as assigned.

The right candidate will have a:

• Minimum of three-years related experience in customer service and support.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRMs (i.e. Quickbooks, SharpSpring) is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills
• Self-directed and self-starter (needs little direction)
• Ability to take accountability/ownership of assigned tasks and prioritize to manage the “big picture.”
• Strong attention to detail.
