Director of Public Relations

Greenfield Healthcare Center

This is a Full-time position in New York, NY posted February 18, 2021.

If you are not also the Admission Director, you are the primary member of center back up team for admissions process to insure successful transition of residents and families to center.

Responsible to exceed budgeted census goals and grow market share within assigned facility.

Assess current Long term care and short stay census budgeted census and payer mix-daily with in the center or centers assigned Leader of the business development meeting within the facility.

Maintain and Develop community based referral sources that include but not limited to home health, service organizations, senior service programs, hospice , non -medical home health, durable medical companies Maintains good working relationships with discharge planners at hospital if assigned.

Primary back up for liaison when account needs additional support.

When assigned hospital accounts in specific markets, responsible to access patient at bedside and complete on boarding process.  When assigned hospital accounts in specific markets, responsible to integrate within the hospital system, to include all ACO relationships, extended relationships within case management and extended beyond to other departments Work in collaboration of liaisons to exceed budgeted census goals.

Responsible for Lead based process
– minimum 20 completed calls per week including pre call plans, documentation in PCC and creative follow up.

Responsible to admit at minimum 1 community based admission per week Responsible to facilitate the weekly business development meeting with ED, liaisons, admission director, social worker, DON Responsible for planning, with business development team support, and hosting  nn2 community and 2 professional events per monthnn Complete weekly assigned reports by executive director and regional marketing and sales director All other assigned duties by the executive director with approval of Regional Director of Sales and Marketing Centers in which a DOPR is assigned the DOPR is responsible to participate in the weekly Business Development meeting Where DOPR is assigned a hospital, the documentation of hospital development must be in CRM.

Onboarding forms and bedside assessment are required on all readmit and new referrals Assess and recommend additional marketing opportunities such as direct mailings, media campaigns, etc.
