Overview:The Health Information Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the HIS staff.

The role focuses on ROI processing and training, as well as ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines.

This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing and implementing departmental or regional projects.

This role provides support to Sr.

Regional Manager.

The Health Information Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining workflow and productivity of HIS’s as well as Handling escalated situations and driving a positive work environment.

Develop workflow.Knowledge expert for HIS staff and acts on behalf of Regional Manager as neededQualifications:QualificationsA High School Diploma or GED is required.Must be 18 years of age or older.Experience in a healthcare environment or office setting is preferred.Knowledge, experience and/or training in accurate data entry, office equipment and procedures required.Effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license and personal automobile insurance.Able to respond to requests in a fast-paced environment1 year Health Information related experienceMeets and/or exceeds Company’s Productivity StandardsAbility to present to small groupsForward thinking and ability to problem solve2 + years in HIM related experience preferredDemonstrated ability or experience in leading employees and processesCoordinates with site management on complex issuesExcel in written and verbal communicationsAble to delegate effectivelyWorking environment & physical demandsWork is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions.

Must have the ability to stand and sit frequently throughout an eight-hour period, reach horizontally and vertically for overhead use.

Must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment.

Incumbent must be able to lift 20 lbs., perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day, and function in an environment with constant interruptions.
