Vice President of Human Resources

With the rapidly expanding business, we are looking for a competent Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) to direct and oversee the company’s HR plans in ways that support our mission and overall strategy.

This position has high accountability and reports directly to the CEO. We want candidates who can prove they are leaders and strategic thinkers, effective people managers, innovator and problem-solvers. 

This position will lead a team that drives Human Resources programs, practices, processes and policy. The ideal candidate will have a huge impact on our organization, including organizational development, employee relations, employee engagement and satisfaction, performance management, and compensation analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • • Develop and deliver a comprehensive Human Resources strategy that integrates and closely aligns with the business strategy.
  • • Continually strives to improve all HR processes and programs, and identify and implement new ones, including career development, employee benefits, and other processes.
  • • Engage and influence senior management to support and implement Global HR initiatives across the organization.
  • • Anticipate and support business initiatives and business needs with effective people products/ services and measures that promote a positive creative climate for our people.
  • • Accountable to ensure the team takes responsibility and executes all core annual people processes, including people planning, promotions/salary reviews, succession planning, talent identification, performance reviews, etc., and ensure that these are implemented with excellence and consistency. 
  • • Enable and support business leaders across the locations on key employee communications on all people topics, e.g. Town Halls, Employee Meetings, organizational changes and announcements. Ensure harmonized communication across all relevant locations / functions.
  • • Promote and reinforce employee communication activities by driving ongoing employee engagement events and activities promoting connectivity amongst them and to ensure maintenance of an efficient and professional working environment.
  • • Ensure that all aspects of staffing and employee relations are delivered timely and in accordance with relevant labor and commercial legislation, and corporate guidelines.
  • • Evolve and utilize the global HR reporting to aid business decision making about people and org evolution decisions.
  • • Lead and inspire the HR team members and give functional direction according to the People Strategy and concepts, ensuring a harmonized approach to all relevant HR processes.
  • • Drive and maintain staff engagement within the team at every level through effective motivation, coaching, training and development.
  • • Act as a role model in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations as well as Anti-Harassment and Discrimination and other internal policies.
  • • Decide and act on initiatives for equal opportunity, diversity etc.
  • • Building and continue driving the internal culture and community.

Requirements:

  • • 15+ years’ experience in HR function(s) with strong working knowledge of all key functional areas such as recruiting, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • • 5+ years leading HR/People Ops/Talent Acquisition teams in high growth companies or division of large company.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or related field.
  • • Expertise in designing progressive and competitive compensation packages, aware of best practices and innovations in the field
  • • Experience with global workforce.
  • • Expert in US state, federal and international employments regulations.
  • • An excellent connector who collaborates, problem solves, and can help celebrate wins while learning from mistakes and always keeping the team in mind.
  • • Awareness of social topics and issues and their impact on Human Capital, recruitment strategies etc.
  • • A solid track record of influencing senior business leaders while demonstrating excellent decision quality.
  • • Ability to assess and address business and interpersonal growth areas within the executive team.
  • • Ability to develop progressive, proactive and cost effective processes and programs to address employee engagement and retention.
