The Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for development of consumer facing mobile applications, contributing to the entire developmental life-cycle, including collaborating with product stakeholders, design, on and offsite development, quality assurance and deployment teams.

The ideal candidate must be able to analyze product requirements and user stories to write software code using software development best practices to create new applications, as well as adding new features, optimizing and debugging existing applications.

The Senior Programmer Analyst will document development activity and ensure software meets business requirements and is compatible with existing platforms for a seamless and exceptional customer experience.

The Senior Programmer Analyst will be expected to develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions, analyze software performance and complete troubleshooting and debugging activities to appropriately identify and correct issues.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training is required Minimum of five years of application development and/or programming experience Minimum of three years of iOS application development experience with Objective-C or Swift, iOS SDKs, XCode, Cocoa Touch, Core Foundation, CoreData, Alamofire, RESTKit, Auto Layout and related iOS frameworks Experience with video streaming on Mobile devices, including linear and on-demand video playback on iOS, AV Foundation and HTTP Streaming and DRM (FairPlay) technologies Solid understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as well as mobile app development life cycle Understanding of Apples design principles and interface guidelines Experience working within a variety of software development methodologies, including but not limited to Agile, Waterfall and CI Experience in relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQLite, and noSQL dbs MongoDB and Cassandra Experience with REST APIs consumption through iOS Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred Experience with 3rd party APIs and libraries Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance/memory tuning Experience developing and deploying applications in a multi-tier environment Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and SVN Strong experience with CI/CD using automated deployment tools Bamboo and Bitbucket Experience in publishing iOS Apps to AppStore Altice USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to recruiting, hiring and promoting qualified people of all backgrounds regardless of gender, race, color, creed, national origin, religion, age, marital status, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, military or veteran status, or any other basis protected by federal, state, or local law.
