Web Developer


This is a Full-time position in Syracuse, NY posted January 15, 2020.

Full Time Opportunity No sponsorships available.

The Web developer, focus on web technologies and minimum 5 years This position researches, designs, and develops computer software systems.

Development (ASP.NET, JavaScript).

Microsoft shop
– .NET, C#, Azure.

Agile environment 2-4 sprints per release.

working with 6 different development teams.

Responsibilities Design, write, debug, test, and document software applications and configurations relating to customer project solutions and/or product solutions.

Modify, debug, and test existing programs written by various authors in varying styles in an efficient manner.

Work with end users on gathering requirements.

Work and communicate effectively with project managers and team members.

Provide user-friendly training, support and follow-up as necessary.

Follow the software development process methodology.

Remain current on emerging technologies.

Contribute to other projects and plans, not specifically noted above, to achieve the goals of the Company.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field and two (2) years related experience and/or training preferred but not required.

Required knowledge of C# and JavaScript, with demonstrated project experience utilizing these technologies.

Desired skills include JSON, ASP .NET, HTML 5, Angular and/or REST services.

Development experience with the ServiceNow application a plus.

Understanding of programming needed to configure business analytics and reporting tools; development experience with Qlik a plus.

Good problem-solving skills and willingness to show initiative.

Highly organized and detail oriented.

Willingness to travel to customer, vendor and industry meeting locations, if required.
