We believe deeply in doing well by doing good and come to work every day seeking to change the world.n n The Role n n The Operations Administrator, New York supports divisions within the New York Business Unit, reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, New York.

Immediate responsibilities include optimizing business unit level operations, while also completing division specific administrative tasks for each of the 8 divisions within the business unit.

The Operations Administrator has a hand in most aspects of operations, ensuring efficient workflow and a strongly supported office environment.n n Primary Responsibilitiesn Helping to optimize the functioning of the business unit by suggesting process improvements and enforcing existing processes; Developing deep understanding of Bright Power business systems, such as Salesforce, Confluence, Slack, and how to further leverage them for efficient workflow; Coordinating with finance team to ensure transparent record keeping and maintenance of accounts payable.

Managing business unit and division specific accounts, trainings, certifications, and subscriptions, as necessary; Preparing, submitting, and tracking applications for government incentives and regulatory filings; Tracking the status of upcoming milestones and tasks on projects
– providing reminders and support to project managers to ensure they are meeting their deadlines and escalating to management if deadlines are missed; Keeping notes on internal meetings and organizing appropriately in Salesforce, Company File Server, etc.; Organizing New York Business Unit team meetings and events, both regular and seasonal; Assisting co-workers with travel arrangements, event registration, project completion; Facilitating human resources procedures
– screening job applicants, scheduling interviews, completing onboarding and offboarding with new and former employees, respectively (in conjunction with HR); Assisting in editing and creating marketing materials, company newsletters, website content (in conjunction with Marketing); Creating draft presentations for internal and external use Managing site visit tool purchasing and distribution; Enforcing and creating field tool policy for teams performing site visits; Assisting Project Managers on specific projects, as applicable; Coordinating responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP”s) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQL); Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned; n n Skills/Qualificationsn Bachelor”s degree strongly preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint Tech savvy with demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new IT systems, including Salesforce, Slack and Confluence Excellent organizational skills Excellent computer skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
– ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, clients, investors, etc.

Ability to maintain strong working relationships with other staff.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to develop and implement a list of priorities.
