We are seeking a savvy social media enthusiast who is passionate about creating content.

The Social Media Specialist will lead social strategy, operations, and production across all social media accounts, enhancing the Acme Smoked Fish brand and building community online.

This is an important role within the Marketing Department for an innovative mind to make an impact on one of the largest smoked fish brands in the industry.

In this role you will collaborate closely with partners across the marketing department to craft social campaigns and content that support product launches as well as evergreen brand building.

You will create compelling content as well as manage analytics and engagement across social channels, reporting regularly on insights you have identified and growth you have driven.Your Responsibilities:Own and develop Acme Smoked Fish’s content calendar across channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, blog, etc.Drive key product and evergreen brand messaging across social channels.Collaborate with in-house designers to bring all social media concepts to life.Oversee and write copy across all social media channels ensuring consistency, brand voice, and best practices for each.Manage a content database curated from a variety of internal and UGC sources including in-house photo and video, tagged photos on social, customer content, etc.Leverage social media technology tools to gather data and analytics.Assess the effectiveness of content efforts by channel through weekly / monthly performance reports.Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, best-in-class practices, platform rules, and competitor activity across all platforms.Collaborate with the marketing team to build and execute brand and product campaigns, always thinking about how social channels can amplify and extend the Acme Smoked Fish brand.Education & Experience:Degree in Communications, Marketing or similar preferred but not required.Experience actively managing social media accounts, developing content and publishing, ideally in the retail or hospitality spaces.Strong track record of crafting successful social media campaigns.Thorough knowledge of top social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).Experience managing and growing social audience and channels, including pulling metrics and reporting on performance.Additional Skills & Abilities:Experience working together with internal creative teams.Experience with WordPress and Photoshop a plus.Must be a highly motivated team player, have a positive demeanor, and a proactive self-starter.Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working collaboratively.Detail-oriented.Cross-functional collaboration skills.Excellent communication skills — oral, written, visual, etc.Skilled in proofreading and editing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.A deep love for food and storytelling.Passionate about the Acme Smoked Fish brand.Benefits:Eligibility for Medical; Dental; Vision; 401k; Company Sponsored GroupTerm Life; Voluntary Life; PTO, Paid Family Leave.
