Marketing Manager

This is a Contract position in Walton, NY posted December 2, 2019.

We are looking for a passionate and talented Marketing Manager to bring our brand to life across all digital channels
– driving email subscriptions, customer acquisition and topline revenue.

This role requires a jack-of-all-trades, able to develop and execute campaigns to market paid products and grow Section4’s audience across email, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment, and is highly organized, strategic, and accountable.

Your ability to manage and measure the audience and customer acquisition funnel is vital.

You should be perpetually curious, scrappy and analytical (just like our work).

Come join us What You’ll Do Create and execute against a content publication calendar for Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.

Develop and write copy in Section4’s voice for social media posts.

Write copy and publish content to the Section4 website.

Own, plan, and execute social and email campaigns for upcoming Section4 products (livestream sessions, event, inaugural online course).

Leverage A/B testing across channels to inform positioning of paid products.

Set an organic and paid social strategy to grow Section4 followers against audience targets.

Manage the Section4 community by responding to inquiries via feedbacksection4.com and social platforms.

Manage and execute Section4’s scholarship program and ambassador program.

Determine and implement optimal CRM, social media and email tech stack.

Work with production team to develop marketing assets for publication across channels, which might include editing and visual design based on existing templates.

Inform SEO and SEM strategies.

Who You Are: You have experience creating, curating and/or distributing visual content across multiple platforms and growing an engaged social audience.

You bring a brand publisher mindset: you can curate and deliver the content our audience is looking for in the right places to drive awareness, trial and conversion.

You have knowledge of areas like SEO, SEM and paid audience acquisition strategies but more importantly are willing to roll up your sleeves and figure it out.

You can work cross-functionally with editorial, production, creative and business teams.

You’re an excellent writer.

You’re process oriented with strong project management skills.

You’re open to being trained on new skill development including video editing.

You can synthesize, analyze and present social performance and other marketing related metrics.
