Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a PD-Vascular Technician.

In this role, the successful candidate Position Summary:Responsible for performing all vascular sonograms including carotid, arterial, venous and abdominal aorta to ICAVL standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates skill in equipment set-up, utilization and proper maintenance procedure. Performs visual and manual quality control checks of Nuclear Medicine equipment including monitors used for routing dictation/reading of clinical images. Uses imaging and peripheral equipment in a safe and productive manner in accordance with prescribed hospital, departmental and manufacturer’s procedures.
  • Effectively assesses patients’s information and status, and follows appropriate procedures accordingly. Uses standard procedures to identify the correct patient.
  • Operates hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to nuclear medicine. Demonstrates knowledge of the hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to radiology.
  • Performs all vascular sonograms including carotid, arterial, venous and abdominal aorta to ICAVL standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; Graduate of a certified cardiovascular technology school or certified by licensing exam.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:College background preferred. Registry with the American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) is preferred.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
