Full Job Description

Manufacturing Facility is seeking an energetic individual for a Maintenance position.

The right candidate must be a critical thinker that can get the job done with safety, efficiency and maintaining a good work culture being the primary driving factors.

JOB SUMMARY: Safely perform mechanical and electrical installation, repair work, trouble shooting, routine, and preventive maintenance on all production equipment.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Determine the cause of mechanical breakdowns on manufacturing equipment and return equipment to proper operating order in minimum time.

Completely assemble or disassemble production lines or support equipment as required for repairs or installations.

Perform electrical troubleshooting on, AC & DC motor drives, distribution panels, solenoids, relays, and other related devices.

Make all necessary mechanical and basic electrical adjustments to production lines or support equipment to insure proper operation.

Regularly inspect production lines and support equipment and oil, grease, clean, repair, or modify same in performing preventive maintenance routines.

Maintain required maintenance logs.

Order spare parts, replacement parts and other materials required through group leader.

Work with minimal supervision in a team environment.

Follow all safety guidelines for lockout / tag out set forth by the company.

Maintain clean, safe work area, by being efficient neat and organized.

Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor, communicate and work effectively and positively with all co-workers.

REQUIREMENTS
5 years experience as an industrial mechanic in a high-speed manufacturing or technical environment required.

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly motivated and responsible, and work well within a team environment.

Able to diagnose, repair machine malfunctions, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, manufacturing systems and controls, and electrical knowledge 480V control.

Must have good theoretical and applied understanding of mechanical and electrical theory, production line control, instrumentation and the manufacturing process.

Able to lift 50 pounds.

Able to work in a cold and hot environment and tolerate exposure to dust.

Able to climb stairs.

Able to organize time effectively.

Able to work effectively with co-workers in a team environment.

Able to work overtime as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00
– $29.00 per hour based on experience
