Accounts Payable Coordinator

Kforce has a client, one of New York City’s most successful and respected Real Estate Developer / Owner / Managers seeks Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their experienced team of 5. Summary: You will be responsible for handling AP activities for a portfolio of real estate properties, utilizing MRI software. Report to A/P Manager and work closely with property managers, members of the accounting department, vendors and others .This is a fantastic opportunity to join an iconic industry leader with excellent compensation package, work culture and long-term employment prospects. Job Requirements:


  • 3+ years of related Accounts Payable experience
  • While real estate industry exposure is a plus, it is not essential
  • Demonstrated track record of recent job longevity and tenure
  • Experienced handling a mid to high volume of invoices and vendors
  • Basic knowledge of Accounting principles as related to payables (i.e. journal entries, general ledgers etc.)
  • Motivated to learn and to take on increasing responsibilities
  • Able to independently, while troubleshooting and solving problems using strong attention to detail
  • Able to work with Excel daily (MRI software is a plus)
  • Nexis, Avid experience are pluses
