Advanced Cyber Security Specialist – East Region

You will work with critical building management, HVAC and security systems with the opportunity to work on a range of commercial and government buildings, health care facilities, airports and correction facilities. In this role you will help support the secure design, engineering, configuration, implementation and commissioning of Information Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure (Server, Storage, Network, Virtual Platforms), Enterprise Applications for our customers.We’re seeking an Advanced Cyber Security Specialist to join our growing ICT Security Team! In this key position, you will…+ Assume support and/or lead role in assigned projects and service contracts ensuring cyber security and network scope is delivered on time and within budget+ Implement security controls and processes to protect HBS deployed solutions, and conduct routine security audits to ensure compliance.+ Drive the ICT security framework and maintenance practices our services teams should be progressing towards to ensure our customer deployed systems are kept secure.+ Create site-specific documentation including configuration, engineering, O, testing and commissioning manuals and procedures.+ Build effective working relationships with Honeywell’s Technical Support Groups, systems users and software vendors, to ensure systems can be well maintained, used effectively, and that requests for action to correct system problems can be attended to effectively and promptly.+ Protect the integrity of the Honeywell implemented software, server and network infrastructure and services by leading access, monitoring global ICT security news and technological developments, and acting on these using vendor advice and current technical knowledge.+ Collaborate with project leads and external project representatives to ensure design aligns with requirements.+ Evaluate project implementations, reporting on performance against goals and contract deliverables, and recommending further actions as appropriate.+ Research and continued education of all related developments and innovations in the IT field, cyber security and standard methodologies+ Requires approx. 25% travel.YOU MUST HAVE+ Bachelors degree+ 3 years in Cyber Security related field.WE VALUE+ Extensive experience in cyber security and network engineering for large scale, multi domain systems and infrastructures+ Experience in performing security audits, assessments, design and hardening.+ Knowledge of appropriate security industry regulations and standards such as ISA-99/ISA-62443 and ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443+ Experience with security scanners: nmap, Nessus, GrassMarlin and other open source tools.+ Security Certifications CISM, CISSP, GCISP or equivalent a plus.+ In depth hands on capabilities and configuration of cyber security controls and solutions (e.g. identity and access management, network security, endpoint security, application security, IDS/IPS, deep packet inspection, SIEM, data analytics, security and/or risk management) strongly preferred+ Current and proven knowledge, and experience in deploying and maintaining secure systems and networks.+ Experience with LAN/WAN security networking principles and devices including VLAN, WLAN, Frame Relay, Firewall, DMZ, VPN, IDS, IPS, ACL, switches, routers, firewalls+ Experience with TCP/IP protocols – SMTP, SNMP, FTP, HTTP, SSH, SSL+ Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to develop innovative and creative solutions in a complex multiple system environments.+ Current or former familiarity and maintenance of Honeywell Building Solutions Software (EBI, DVM, and Energy Manager) is a big plus+ Understanding of building support systems such as BMS, Security and CCTV is ideal.+ Experience with Anti-Virus, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Services and Active Directory+ Experience in the implementation of ITIL practices, continuous improvement and client focused service delivery standards and methodologies in large and complex environments.+ Knowledge of system monitoring and network fault finding.Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
