Business Analyst

Kforce’s Fortune 100 Client is looking for a Business Analyst with Treasury Domain Experience in Armonk, NY on a contract basis. Responsibilities:

  • Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives
  • Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems and industry standards
  • Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions
  • Create high level statement of work and share with stakeholders to enable them to determine Level 0 estimates
  • Develop outline and detailed test plans and schedule
  • Work with product owner and tech stakeholders to create and groom user stories
  • Guide development and testing team during execution
  • Come up with creative solutioning especially when needed to mitigate scope and capacity risks
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
  • Guide development and testing team during execution

Job Requirements:


  • 5 or more years of solid business/technical analysis and design experience
  • 5 or more years of experience with developing testing plans and strategies
  • Strong experience in Treasury domain software & installations / migrations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
  • Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodology
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis
  • Good working knowledge of JIRA
  • Ability to work cross-LOB and collaborate with various stakeholders effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
