This is a Full-time position in New York, NY posted January 10, 2022.


  • Partner with the top management to evaluate the company ‘s product, engineering, and technology roadmaps. Develop technical aspects of the company ‘s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals and the wider group technology strategy.
  • Represent the technology team across departments and communicate technology strategy to stakeholders, partners and investors, and provide appropriate management information to feed into Board reporting.
  • Manage the whole IT system and application team which is responsible for implementation, software support, system upgrade in the group, also identify any potential area for improvement or problems.
  • Oversee the Data function of the company, including but not limited to, data architecture, tech stack, and infrastructure to develop strategies for leveraging data to gain deep insights and any support business needs.
  • Understanding of data models and an understanding of how data should be modeled for performance. Experience writing SQL queries for SQL Server or another Relational Database.
  • Help define and enforce DevOps standards, procedures, and guidelines to improve the overall development process.
  • Maintain a high standard of output from mobile application and web developers to ensure alignment of all technology selections and interoperability of all solutions.
  • Stays abreast of trends and advances in IT solutions and monitors changes in the operating environment. Ensure the best softwares is being used and corresponding training is provided.
  • Safeguard all hardware and software assets. Ensure safe, reliable operations of critical systems.
  • Oversees the whole technology department, including hire, lead, coach and developer the team. Acts as an excellent role model and holds team members accountable to core values, high professional standards, communications and goals.
  • Actively seek out talents and review the existing team structure and ensure a most efficient allocation of manpower and resources.


  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related disciplines.
  • 10+ years of work experience in building highly scalable web products with exposure in budgets and business plans.
  • 5+ years in IT management with strong leadership, people management and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of major languages such as PHP, Python, HTML, JavaScript and CSS. Experience in Golang, Node.js, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Memcached, RabbitMQ is a plus.
  • Experience in frontend and/or backend of Web3, and experience working with Crypto/blockchains/NFTs is a plus.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decision-making and problem solving skills.
  • Clear understanding of computer programming, graphic interface and database principles, tools, and technologies.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate web security and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships throughout the organisation and collaboration with senior leadership team.
  • Proven success working across organisational and geographic boundaries.
  • Good communication with diverse audiences including clients, partners, internal team members.
  • Proactive, dedicated and strong interest in digital technologies.
  • Excellent command of Chinese and English.
