Loss Prevention Group – Revenue Auditor

This is a Full-time position in New York, NY posted June 25, 2021.

Summary:Responsible to perform revenue audits across 400 + parking locations in New York Metro Division covering (New York City Boroughs and Northern New Jersey Cities).

Primary job duty will be to write audit report findings / recommendations, and oversee implementation to ensure management has re-mediated control deficiencies to improve revenues.Responsibilities:1) Travel to parking locations 60% of the time with some overnight stays.

Work varied schedule of weekdays, nights, and weekends to accomplish revenue audit work.2) Conduct research for assigned audits using Management Reporting Systems to analyze non-revenue tickets, parking fee transactions, and exception ticket trends.3) Surprise visits of parking locations to observe and document control of daily revenue reporting, parking inventory, accounts receivables, revenue system controls, identify revenue slippage, and validate discrepant ticket trends and their root causes.4) Manage time to complete assigned audits in database, implementation follow up, and monitor revenue trends using business dashboard to track progress post revenue audit work.5) Assist with research for identifying discrepant transaction data and resolving fraud investigation cases.Scope of Position:The auditors work is to uncover revenue loss to create management awareness and compliance to standard operating procedure.

The randomness of visits will act as deterrence against theft and fraud, and audit work should impact revenue improvement.

Auditor will office and support Regional Vice President of Operations at the Regional Office in Manhattan NY.Skills and Knowledge Needed:* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously* Strong ability to write for business environment using critical writing skills based on observation of conditions, validation of data, and summary of analysis
– (significant work time is spent writing)* Experience conducting field audits for inventory control, revenue reporting, risk assessments, compliance auditing, or field investigation involving fraud or revenue manipulation.* Experience with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and Google applications.Requirements:Ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree, or the equivalent of (5 years) Retail Loss Prevention (Field Audit / Investigator) or Parking Management Experience (Multi-Location preferred).Position is Salaried, use of Personal Car for Travel with Mileage/Tolls reimbursable, and Benefits are provided.Pay: $55,000.00 per yearExperience:* Loss Prevention / Parking Management: 5 years (Required)
