Office Coordinator


This is a Full-time position in Garden City South, NY posted October 23, 2021.

O ur client, a prestigious Law Firm on Long Island is seeking an on site Receptionist for their Garden City location.

The receptionist is the first point of contact in the office and must be well presented, highly organized and able to communicate clearly, effectively and comfortably with different people; must possess a pleasant telephone demeanor and a smile when greeting clients and visitors in person. Must be a flexible team player who has a good attitude and the ability to prioritize and demonstrate good judgment and professionalism under pressure. Good attendance and reliability are critical. With COVID they have to request visitor questionnaires and offer masks to guests.

Hours are 8:30- 5:00 pm with one hour lunch


• Answer, manage and screen telephone calls,
• Greet visitors,
• data entry, time sheet entry and calendar management,
• Manage conference rooms; and keep Office Services advised on guests departure for cleaning and to stock supplies, provide refreshments and clean up after meetings;
• Communicate with IT Manager, Office Administrator and Office Services Manager about technology, facilities and other office issues; coordinate with building management for misc. services and deal with vendors,

• Preferred but not required 2-year or 4-year college degree
• 1+ years’ experience in a professional office environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
• Pleasant telephone manner
• Ability to multi-task
