Organizational Change Management Lead

This is a Full-time position in Hastings, NY posted April 29, 2021.

The Organizational Change Management Lead will be responsible for all change management activities in our project portfolio.

This is a highly visible and critical role that will support the transformation by developing, designing, and delivering robust change and engagement programs to support the business transformation efforts.

The main objective of the role is to see employees successfully transition and operate under new operating models, processes, and business systems.

Reporting to the Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, this position will be based at our Hastings, Michigan corporate headquarters and generally work within our standard office hours of Monday
– Friday 8:00 am
– 4:30 pm.

Position Duties & Responsibilities 
Implements and applies a structured change methodology within the organization.

Develops, implements, and maintains Change Management processes and tools to create a strategy supporting the adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.

Assists project team and change team in navigating the business and assessing change impact.

Assists change team in the development of deliverables, review/approval, and presenting of findings.

Collaborated with the change team to analyze and mitigate resistance.

Provides oversight in the implementation of communication and training.

Assesses the impact of a change and estimates required resources to support the change.

Assists in locating those resources and obtains permission for to assist.

Determines when resistance needs to be escalated.

Serves as an ambassador of the change to the business.

Conducts impact analysis, assesses change readiness and identifies key stakeholders.

Leads the Change Team and Change Agent Network in the execution of activities needed to successfully implement and sustain a change.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required.

Preferred majors include Leadership, Human Resources and/or Organizational Development, or Business Administration.  Professional Certifications in Program or Change Management (CCMP, CMS, CPCM, etc.) preferred.  A minimum of 8 years demonstrated work experience with a specialty in:  Stakeholder Engagement Leadership Alignment Communications Planning Training Strategy Design Organizational Readiness  A minimum of 5 years experience working on organizational projects.  Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication ability, experience in presenting and communicating with members of senior or executive (c-suite) leadership.  Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
