Navy Kesselring Site Operations (KSO) in Ballston Spa, NY.

The KSO Program Office overseas and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, the project team, and line management.Responsibilities:Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.Performs analysesand prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parametersand government cost control guidelines.Prepares budgets and understands schedules for contract work and performsin financial analyses such as funding profiles, cost, and variance analysis.Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures.Qualifications:U.S.

Citizenship.Current Secret clearance.Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required.Previous use and/or application of Earned Value principles, theories, and concepts.Strong knowledge of industry Earned Value practices and standards.Demonstrated ability to assimilate with work teams to evaluate progress, understand problems, resolutions, resources, and charging practices at a detailed level for performance accountability and reporting of Estimate at Completion (EACs).Complete understanding and application of accounting principles, concepts, practices, and standards.Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other data warehouse applications for mining data and metric reporting.—:ns
