This is a Contract position in New Paltz, NY posted November 24, 2021.

Hudson and Highland Tradesmen is a locally owned and operated construction business specializing in renovations and custom builds. We are seeking a qualified carpenter/laborer to join our team. Must be able to perform general/varied tasks and eventually assist with building processes. This is a full time position with great opportunity. You must have your own transportation and be reliable. You also must have a strong work ethic, be reachable, and willing to learn. Some Saturday work may be required.

A Hudson and Highland Tradesmen candidate must have the following:

– Minimum of (3) years relevant experience in the following-

Framing, wall and ceiling panels,doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, flooring, fabrication and install.

Experience in the following is a plus:

Tile, plumbing, electrical, mud and taping, finish work.

MUST HAVE CLEAN AND ORGANIZED WORK METHODS!

– Must possess clean valid driver’s license

– Professional and courteous demeanor

– Ability to problem solve and meet scheduled deadlines

– Work with minimal supervision and as as team

-Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

*Must be willing to have a criminal records and drug screening check.

Start date: Immediate Openings

Salary based on experience

Based in Cornwall, New York

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
