This role will lead the event studio space and technical production elements for high-profile events, as well as directly manage the team to ensure delivery of high quality events and seamless overall brand experience to all attendees, press, and partners.  nn nn Regional Lead will manage Team Leads who oversee a team of 20+ employees and will report into the Global Account Director.

nn nn RESPONSIBILITIES : nn nn Leadership/Regional Management nn Lead on all aspects of service delivery across the region which includes developing processes, maintaining client relationships, and driving innovations and efficiencies Identify new and alternative ways of approaching FIRST’s event management, creative strategy and technical production offering to clients Work with the internal team and client to drive implementation and ongoing improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Ensure that the team is trained on and adheres to standard operating procedures and compliance processes Liaise across different levels with the FIRST team, the client’s organization, and third-party vendors Assist with the supplier and freelance management, by engaging in evaluation and vetting processes, supporting master service level agreements negotiations and onboarding of new suppliers Lead by example and display the company’s core values (Ambition.

Monitor and ensure team achieves 95%+ of SLA’s on all events Encourage and motivate the team to constantly enhance their knowledge of best practices, new suppliers, services, and venues and to be proactive with ideas and creative solutions Oversee the Studio Leads who manage the team’s scheduling and workload, ensuring day-to-day understanding of capacity/pressure points and assisting/offering guidance on studio management where required Partner with FIRST People & Culture team on various company initiatives, recruiting, and employee relations matters nn Technical Production Oversight nn Oversee service which includes event management and technical production of high-profile, technically complex events (digital and hybrid)  This role will lead and oversee a team of event managers, producers, and technicians with a strong client-centric approach  Manage client expectations on production and service issues as well as help identifying and optimizing potential gaps in organizational processes or procedures Provide technical solutions and support to the wider team and assist in the hands-on delivery of events and sourcing ad hoc scalable resources Provide input/feedback on opportunities, issues, and challenges within the organization, as studio management is developed outline opportunities for off-site pop up event support  Deliver final labor cost and technical spends in pre and post-production with budgets to be defined within discovery phase  Maintain comprehensive event files and keep precise records for the client  nn QUALIFICATIONS: nn 8+ years’ professional experience within the technical event production/broadcast industry/Live event industry 3 – 5+ years’ experience leading technical production teams Strong people management skills with the ability to lead by example is essential Bachelor’s Degree required Expert/in-depth understanding of the latest Audio/Visual technology and advancements including lighting, audio/video, rigging and power (or connect in with SMEs as needed); significant knowledge of technical event production/broadcast environment High level of proficiency in the technical delivery of high-quality events  Video output experience with expert technical understanding of systems Extensive experience operating event production systems, specifically in studio management and broadcast environment Excellent communication and customer service skills  Ability to prioritize while adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail Willingness to travel within the Americas as needed Familiarity with safety training regulations and certification needs  Ability to manage many projects at once in various locations and varying levels of production Excellent supplier/vendor knowledge, contract negotiation skills and knowledge of market pricing nn ADMINISTRATION & GENERAL: nn Assume responsibility for own environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety policies while having clean smart surroundings Work intelligently and ensure that team management is aware of problems or issues which negatively affect productivity Build excellent relations with the team, clients, vendors, and key venues through positive communications Ensure knowledge is shared within the team to enable them to work smarter Work on ad hoc requests as required, typically during quiet times n n
