nn Job Responsibilities nnThis position is located in Information Assurance, Richland County.

This position will support the development of Information Security plans, policies, standards, and procedures related to Federal, State, and Agency compliance requirements.

Leads the independent analysis, design, implementation, and modification of information security plans, policies, standards, and procedures to meet business needs.nn Coordinates Office of Information Assurance (OIA) administrative policies and documentation.

Works with technical staff and business stakeholders to create deliverables and artifacts that are intended for audiences with various levels of technical knowledge.

Involves creating, sharing, revising, and publishing OIA policies and procedures.

Assist OIA management with Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) processes and documentation.

Assists management with POAM library and artifacts.

Edits the POAM dashboard for management.

Create documents for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulation compliance.

Work with various internal and external teams to create information security documents and artifacts for complying with cybersecurity laws and regulations.

Responsible for the aggregation, completion, and submission of required Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) compliance documents.

Responsible for the aggregation, completion, and submission for all non-CMS compliance requirements.

Manages audit coordination with other Agency departments.

Prepare audit reports that identify technical and procedural findings.

Write reports based on audit results.

Update audit documentations.

Works with compliance and technical staff for each audit project.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements nnBachelor’s degree and at least two years of directly related experience.n n Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

n n Additional Requirements: nn Lifting requirements: 15 lbs.  Minimal supervision by the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for Risk and Compliance within the Office of Information Assurance.

Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of technical writing experience in positions requiring the development of structured written materials and visual aids.

Must possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) to include working with templates and style guidelines for branding consistency.

Ability to interact with internal and external vendors, project team members, management, and agency departments and to build relationships and use facilitation skills with both technical and non-technical personnel.

Experience with CMS MARS-E 2.0 or other NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliant programs.

Prior experience with Bizagi.

Previous public sector work experience.
