The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment. They investigate and resolve simple to medium additional compensation requests for sales teams and broker teams, while owning 1 or more small to midsize processes, such as service fee set up and payments. The ideal person is an advocate for our brokers and sales teams, to assure that we pay our brokers additional compensation accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
Provides exceptional customer service to ensure that our brokers and third-party entities are paid accurately and on a timely basis. Owns 2 to 4 national brokers. Owns a set of non-national brokers.
Works with a sense of urgency to ensure brokers are paid on a timely basis and with accuracy.
Builds and demonstrates expertise in all compensation and bonus programs responsibilities, including detailed data analysis, standard reporting, and custom reporting.
Inspires trust, teamwork, and positive relationships within the team and with all external partners.
Defuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective manner.
Ensures the security and privacy of our customer information through records management, compliance, and resolution of issues.
Participates and leads in both customer- and internal-facing presentations and meetings.
Works directly with sales, third party external compensation team, brokers, general agents, and other business partners to gather, analyze and resolve broker bonus questions.
Responsible for creating service fee and one-time payment requests for brokers, general agents, and third-party entities.
Responsible for creating and/or updating procedures so that our processes are maintained.
Responsible for creating and delivering training in the form of lunch and learns, informal mentoring, and specific procedure training.
Responsible for investigating, documenting, and resolving broker bonus questions using Cognos reporting, intermediate to advanced excel skills, and bonus program knowledge.
Able to summarize findings for senior sales and brokers in a clear and concise manner.
Able to create detailed premium analysis at the customer level and broker level.
Continuously looks to improve upon current processes while also looking to reduce business risk.
