**In-Business Risk Manager – Issuer Services
– VP**The In-Business Risk Manager (IBRM) is responsible for assessing and supporting the control and compliance environment in the Issuer Services businesses, Agency and Trust, and Depositary Receipts.

The role is key in providing the IBRM team and business managers with analysis of the business’s control environment and regulatory adherence, as well as reviewing implementation of new regulations, and new or revised Citi policies.

The IBRM applies a broad range of control knowledge in providing control and compliance assessments.

Strong knowledge of, and the ability to assess controls are required.

The IBRM must be able to communicate risks and the need for action.

The ability to communicate with functional partners and maintain working relationships is also required.**Responsibilities:**+ Performs risk and control assessments and manages risk technology tools, e.g.

Managers Control Assessment (MCA), iCAPs to create a robust control environment+ Supports the Issuer Services MCA processes, including quality review of Activity, Risk, Control, and Monitoring (ARCMs)+ Manages reporting process for MCA and Risk Topics meetings+ Manages Employee Monitoring Process for Mandatory Absence, Enterprise Entitlement Review System (EERS) , Employee Due Diligence (EMDD), past due training, Content Monitoring and Electronic Communications Violations+ Performs MCA testing of key front office processes+ Manages Issue and corrective action plan (CAP) reporting and oversight process+ Performs gap analysis reviews against regulatory requirements+ Builds trusted internal and external relationships with other risk, compliance, operations, and legal teams+ Works with other risk and control teams to identify, leverage, and implement best practices and processes across Citi to strengthen Issuer Services control programs+ Supports the business in identifying issues to meet the established IBAM (Issues Being Addressed by Management) criteria.+ Assists senior Issuer Services management in gathering data and information for executive level reporting+ Assesses root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices+ Supports updates to the Issuer Services resolution plans (critical operations) and provides information and analysis to other parts of Citi’s overall resolution plans**Qualifications:**+ 3 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably with audit or a control function+ Ability to review processes, identify internal controls, and develop monitoring or testing plans+ Broad and diverse experience in controls, regulations, and Citi policies, standards, and procedures+ Working knowledge of Citi MCA processes, and systems+ Ability to review recent regulatory developments, or new or revised Citi policies and determine impact to Issuer Services businesses+ Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements+ Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills+ Working knowledge of the Issuer Services businesses+ Detail oriented, with proven ability to provide detailed, accurate analyses+ Project management and organizational skills+ Diplomacy and relationship management skills.
