Job Summary



JOB DESCRIPTION: Cisco Ecosystem Business Unit is looking for CISCO – BDM to drive growth for the Cisco Portfolio through HCL and contribute into the solutions/initiatives from the Technology Partner.

This role involves providing strong sales abilities, business development activities in positioning HCL offerings around Cisco portfolio to target customers/markets in collaboration with HCL and Cisco Sales teams.

Desired Skills and attributes for success

• Work with the Sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities, to identify key customer technical objections and to develop the strategy to resolve technical impediments to business transactions.

• Manage Relationship with Cisco Business Teams in the region and drive business together

• Primarily responsible for researching and identifying business opportunities & generating leads

• Target identification and classification for CISCO opportunities

• Develop and acquire new customers and up sell to existing customers for new revenue opportunities

• Works across a territory to create a market for defined CISCO offerings and services, and to qualify and develop opportunities within those markets

• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how HCL offerings along with Cisco products meets client needs

• Business Development/Sales background that enables to engage at all levels of a customer and partner organization, including CXO-levels of the business and IT

• Prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan business objective

• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key companies

• Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports

• Possess the technical ability to explain Cloud Computing, Infrastructure solutions & Internet architectures

• Create and collate content for proposals

• Create and maintain knowledge artifacts

• Responsible to establish and grow business and technical relationships and managing the day-to-day interactions with partners and internal sales teams.

• Experience with Networks, Security, Unified Communication, PaaS and IaaS technologies on public or hybrid cloud platforms.

• The candidate should possess both a business/sales background that enables them to engage at the CXO level and field level, as well as strong technical competency focused on the IT landscape and cloud computing.
