Contract Manager, NYSERDA ProgramsTRC Advanced Energy is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Contract Manager to foster a customer-service orientation to contracting – positioning staff throughout NYSERDA for timely and effective contracting of the programs, goods, and services that are critical to executing the Authority’s strategy. Collaborate with colleagues in programs to identify possible contracting processes improvements, problem-solve, and overcome constraints. Partner with, train, and support colleagues throughout the Authority to enable their success in adhering to contracting regulations and managing the Authority’s riskTroubleshoot Salesforce issues for other staff or external stakeholders. Submit issues to the Salesforce team and follow-up on resolution of those issues including user acceptance testing. Provide advice, assistance and facilitating relating to contract policy and practice in team meetings, scoring committees and debriefs. Implement contract and business process improvements and adoption efforts, create and maintain guidance documents and instruction manuals Technical Support user issues for the Salesforce Solicitation Module. Manage the full range of contracting and procurement activities including solicitation development, contract negotiation, administration, modification, and closeoutThe position can be based in Albany NY, Clifton Park, NY or New York City, NY, RemoteKey responsibilities include:* Troubleshoot Salesforce issues for other staff or external stakeholders* Submit issues to the Salesforce team and follow-up on resolution of those issues including user acceptance testing* Provide advice, assistance and facilitating relating to contract policy and practice in team meetings, scoring committees and debriefs* Implement contract and business process improvements and adoption efforts, create and maintain guidance documents and instruction manuals* Technical Support user issues for the Salesforce Solicitation Module* Manage the full range of contracting and procurement activities including solicitation development, contract negotiation, administration, modification, and closeout* A keen attention to detail and a penchant for mastering and understanding details for the purpose of simplifying the landscape for others. ·* Extraordinary diligence, thoroughness and follow-through in a high volume, fast-paced environment.* Demonstrated collaboration and consensus-building skills with an ability to build productive relationships across a diverse organization.* Skilled in managing multiple, diverse activities simultaneously, delivering on commitments, and operating with speed, accuracy and strong judgement.* Demonstrated problem solving ability, resourcefulness, adaptability, for surfacing value and pragmatic solutions.* Ability to evaluate contract requirements, special provisions and other terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and organizational policies and procedures.Desired Skills and Experience* A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial or Management Engineering* Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint Oracle Peoplesoft (NEIS), Salesforce, Tableau Atlastian Suite: Jira, Confluenc* Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite-MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint Experience in contract/finance database system, Oracle Peoplesoft and Salesforce preferred* Proven experience working in contracting/financial database systems, Oracle Peoplesoft or Salesforce experience preferred.* Previous experience in procurement or contract management.TRC is an equal opportunity employer.
