Corporate Social Responsibility Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce’s client is looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility Project Manager to join their growing team in New York, NY. Summary The CSR contractor will be responsible for the implementation and management of our client’s Young Men of Color and Rural Young Women programs and community initiatives in targeted locations that engage and positively impact underserved and underrepresented populations across the United States. The team is working fully remote through at least June 2021, after which time the candidate may be asked to work at times from NYC office. Specifically, the contractor will deploy our client’s STEM enrichment programs across 45+ college institutions for middle schoolers from under resourced schools nationwide. In addition, the contractor will partner with our client’s public policy team and local community organizations to assess the core societal challenges in each of our community initiatives’ location and launch initiatives that solve these issues, which may include but are not limited to the digital divide, income inequality, and lack of a quality STEM education. REQUIREMENTS Experience managing strategic CSR and community-based programs with diverse constituencies from philanthropic leaders, academics, grantees, policy makers, business executives, members of the media and other social sector leaders Experience working with or supporting under-resourced and economically disadvantaged populations Exceptional project management skills and the ability to deliver effective results Excellent presentation and strong written and communications skills Strong PowerPoint and Google suite skills Must have a strong understanding of how technology can be used to solve societal challenges Excellent partner management, collaboration, innovation, problem solving, and end-to-end project management skills Strong skills in creative and strategic analysis with the ability to think out of the box Ability to quickly and successfully execute on philanthropic programs and measure success Ability to prioritize, problem solve and multitask effectively Excellent communications and relationship management skills including experience in presenting to and communicating with business leaders Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
