Digital Marketing Manager

This is a Full-time position in New York, NY posted September 13, 2021.

Galison seeks a Digital Marketing Manager to oversee the marketing of 3 brands including direct-to-consumer ecommerce (Galison.com, mudpuppy.com, and brassmonkeygoods.com), digital advertising, email marketing, and social media.

This position will manage all tasks associated with managing and optimizing these ecommerce sites, including planning and implementation of promotions, email campaigns, advertising, and leveraging other direct-to-consumer marketing tools to drives sales.

The role will be supported by 2 marketing coordinators.

 

In managing three Shopify brand websites, the Digital Marketing Manager will analyze website recordings, edit the UI + UX experience by leveraging HTML/CSS, update product pages, create and upload CSV files, optimize products + collections for SEO, and research and implement new apps.

For Google Merchant Center, they will ensure that all promotions and sales information are uploaded while also managing product listings, and they will optimize all Google campaigns in addition to reporting analytics monthly.

For Facebook, they will create and optimize campaigns through the full customer journey, and they will manage the Facebook catalog for all 3 brands.

The Digital Marketing Manager will also review and optimize all email automated flows and utilize continued A/B testing to ensure optimum engagement and results.

In addition, they will oversee the content calendar and posts for social media, while also creating and adding promotions monthly for all brands.

Administratively they will be overseeing digital strategy & various marketing functions.

 

Applicants will preferably have 4+ years of ecommerce and marketing experience, including Google Advertising, email marketing, social media, and paid social advertising.

They should have solid experience with Shopify, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, Google Search Console, Facebook Advertising, basic HTML, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

A strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media KPIs is needed, and they should have proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint, along with HTML/CSS experience.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, prioritization abilities, organizational savvy, and a genuine interest in art are also required.
