seeks an Executive Director in New York, New York
Convey risks, issues, and impacts in a clear and concise manner to senior management.

Plan and execute assurance activities such as audits, continuous monitoring, and issue closure verification.

Provide subject matter expertise in quantitative valuation risk related controls for Fixed Income (Interest Rate and Inflation derivatives, Foreign Exchange derivatives, Credit Corporate, Municipal, and Securitized cash securities, Corporate Loans), Commodities, and Equity trading portfolios.

Review design adequacy and operating effectiveness of valuation control processes such as independent price verification of financial products, complex trade reviews, complex product reserving, and management information reporting.

Synthesize results from all assurance activities to provide a perspective on the control environment.

Utilize knowledge of financial risk measures to ensure appropriate monitoring of Profit and Loss.

Utilize the knowledge of financial products pricing and complex financial models calibration to ensure controls around valuation address the preponderance of risk of mismarking of trading inventory.

Assist with building of reusable analytical tools to gain insight into valuation patterns and trends.

Participate in regulator meetings.

Interact and coordinate with other group within Internal Audit, like Market Risk, Finance, Quantitative Analytic Groups to ensure holistic coverage of controls related to valuation.

Review the pre-provision net revenue models utilized in the forecast of revenues for Capital Planning.

Qualifications

Requirements :
Requires a Master’s degree in Engineering and Management Systems or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Sr.

Manager, Assistant Vice President, or a related occupation.

Requires four (4) years of experience with: Independent price verification; Valuation risk analysis; Quantitative financial analysis; Complex product reserving; Fixed income financial products and businesses including government and agency cash, inflation cash and derivatives, municipal capital markets, credit corporate bonds and loans, and distressed products; Profit and loss monitoring; Risk positions monitoring; and Excel.
