Maintenance Manager

EDUCATION AND AFFILIATIONS

Higher Technical Certificate in Engineering or installations (mechanical, electrical, etc)

Installer Licence and FLSD (T-89) and Fire Safety Director by FDNY.

Other certificates would be considered: S-12 City-wide Sprinkler systems, S-13 City-wide Standpipe system, P-98 Fuel

Oil Transfer, P-99 Low Pressure Boiler, F-78 Cleaning and testing smoke detectors, universal EPA, etc

Other languages as Spanish or Italian will be considered.

EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years working in a similar role, responsible for maintenance and organizational duties in a hotel or building apartment.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Reporting directly to the Hotel GM and functional report to Regional Engineering Director.

-Responsible of carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance tasks with high standards.

-Compliance with maintenance procedures according to the city regulations and brand standards.

-Supervision and control to ensure daily maintenance tasks and inspections are completed with high standards.

-Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

-Management and coordination of external maintenance contractors.

-Leadership and management of his/her team (Local 6).

-Availability on weekends and holidays planification according to rotation of staff.

-Availability 24/7 in case of emergency

-Reporting and control of energy and water consumption.

-Goes the extra mile detecting and proposing efficiency and saving opportunities.

-Ensure all FDNY and OHSA procedures are in place

-Excellent coordination with other head of departments in the hotel
