Manager- IT Service Delivery, Asset Management – Remote

Our Manager
– IT Service Delivery, Asset Management is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, monitoring and compliance of all IT Asset Management processes throughout the enterprise.

Areas of Focus will include:

Project Management

• Leads all IT Asset Management(ITAM) process oversite, including but not limited to:

• Manage and maintain the quality and integrity of ITAM on a day to day basis.

• Drive integration of ITAM processes across the organization.

• Lead and Implement ITAM best practices supporting ITAM process modification

• Lead implementation of ITAM enabling technology.

• Serve as ITAM subject matter expert.

• Continuous monitoring and reporting of IT asset portfolio.

• Lead efforts to develop and implement ITAM processes and then transfers monitoring of individual hardware and software process to process owners.

• Drafts, recommends, implements and continually monitors ITAM policies, standards, controls and processes and integrates with ITL across the enterprise.

• Leads all ITAM process development through the entire system development life cycle to implementation for the enterprise.

• Drives continuous improvement efforts for each individual process and between all processes throughout the enterprise.This includes integration between ITAM processes as well as Financial processes, procurement and and other processes that feed or interact with ITAM processes.

• Provides guidance and direction to process owners for process adherence, maintenance, and improvement.

• Develops enterprise level training curriculum and reviews process owner training documentation.

• Facilitates training, education and compliance concerning processes and process improvements at all levels within the organization.

• Strives to increase efficiency and consistency across all of IT.

People/Resource Management

• Manage staff including hire, terminate, administer disciplinary action, evaluate performance, and coach behavior.

• Plan and forecast budget for area.

Operations Management

• Responsible for software tools to support ITAM processes.

• Collaborate with technical individuals in planning, designing, developing, testing and implementation of software in support of ITAM processes across the enterprise.

• Determine, develop and ensure accuracy of metrics to be included in dashboard(s) for executive reporting.

• Meet with all levels of management to review processes, compliance with processes and metrics supporting processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology or related field (Additional experience may substitute)

• 5-7 years of process development, management, IT consulting (or related experience) and project/program management experience (Additional education may substitute)

• 3-5 years of IT consulting and/or management experience in a medium to large organization, technology management and Asset Management experience (Additional education may substitute)

• Experience with ITIL – ITIL Foundation certification or higher

• This position will support a federal government contract.

Applicants must be able to obtain Public Trust security clearance as required of federal government contractors to include a background check conducted by the U.S.

Government to determine eligibility and suitability for federal contract employment for public trust or sensitive positions.

For this level of clearance, applicants must possess U.S.citizenship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to build and manage relationships with clients with varying interest and roles.

• Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow ITAM modules including but not limited to Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, and Discovery.

• People management skills, which include making hiring and firing decisions, counseling, coaching, and motivating staff.

• Ability to manage multiple projects.

• Ability to establish standards to ensure projects are adequately estimated, controlled, tracked, and managed.

• Ability to interact with various levels of management.

• Ability to work cross-functionally across all IT groups.

• Ability to understand Navient’s technology application architecture and infrastructure and how it supports critical business operations.

• Strong project management skills.

• Strong knowledge of business environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills required for a team environment.

• Strong written and oral communication skills including persuasion and facilitation skills.

• Strong teambuilding skills.
