Manager, M&A and Post Merger Integration


This is a Full-time position in VALHALLA, NY posted January 8, 2022.

Overview We are hiring a Manager, M&A and Post Merger Integration in our Valhalla, NY office.

The Manager, M&A and Post Merger Integration will report to the Director, Planning and Strategic Alliance and be responsible for managing pre
– and post-merger activity, the operational integration of acquisitions, and the end-to-end support of divestiture projects that are being considered or have taken place.

Manage due diligence and integration strategies for an effective and smooth transition.

Collaborate cross-functionally to determine priorities and set goals.

Drive integration planning by adhering to Fujifilm’s organizational approach, tools, and processes.

Monitor performance using metrics to ensure that each project meets its stated goals and takes place in a timely manner.

External US Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with business partners and their senior leadership.

Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short
– and long-term goals
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to meet engagement goals.

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management significant barriers or impediments to meeting project goals.

Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, business leadership and senior managment
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Prepare presentations providing project progress for senior leadership
Review company financials and projections for corporate valuation models (IRR, DCF, ROI) and work closely with corporate development team to summarize deal, and plan for integration .

Required skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management, finance or related analytical field required, an MBA is preferred
Experience aligning and driving cross-functional teams
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment across projects, presentation preparation and coordination with senior executives
Upfront participation in the development of projected P&L, pro forma financials, synergy development and return metrics
Support tracking, planning and integration of corporate business development strategies including M&A, roll-ups, etc.

Led due diligence efforts for prospective acquisitions
Experience managing company-wide corporate restructuring projects
Minimum 5 years of experience with post merger integration projects
Minimum 5 years of experience planning and directing teams
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
Ability to build and manage large teams and show leadership attributes across cultures and geographies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including probing, and listening skills and the ability to present complex data with clarity.

Resourceful self starter who is adept at various forms of communication, including meeting facilitation.

Desired experience
Preferred experience in healthcare and life sciences industries
MBA with concentration in finance, management, marketing, international business or related area
Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting or corporate finance/strategy division in a Fortune 1000 company or similar organization..

Minimum 5 years of experience with project delivery experience in consulting sector.

Proven analytic and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, design and implement efficient, innovative business solutions to complex challenges.
