Overview: Opportunity: Senior Director of Risk ManagementProvide strategic direction and oversight of the risk management function for a hotel management and investment company with over 6,000 associates and 150 properties across 25 states.

Lead the corporate risk team on self-insured claims oversight while developing, enforcing and driving strategy pertaining to compliance and safety.

This position is based in HHMs Philadelphia, PA executive office with frequent travel to HHMs Harrisburg, PA office.Potential Career Path:Vice President of Risk ManagementEssential Job FunctionsDirect the review and settlement of general liability and workers compensation claims under self-insured programsGuide risk management team and claims adjusters along with in-house and external counsel on claims resolutionAdvise hotel and regional leaders on incidents as they occur in real-timeProvide monthly updates of ongoing material general liability claims to multiple ownership groupsProvide monthly updates of the workers compensation program and key claims to HHM executive teamLead discussions of insurance program renewals (primarily Workers Compensation, Property, General Liability, Auto, and Umbrella/Excess) with brokers, HHM executive team, and ownership groupsRecruit, interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with program requirements and consistent with HHM core valuesDevelop, communicate, and monitor company-wide risk management and safety goals and programsPosition Requirements5 years of progressive experience in self-insured and high retention risk programsExperience evaluating claims (workers compensation, auto liability, general liability, etc.) and adjusting and evaluating claims reservesBachelors degree in Business or a similar fieldSuperior analytical skills and extensive experience with analysis/utilization of reports.Project management experienceWork Environment and ContextTravel between corporate offices is required.Required to sit for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, walk, bend, reach, use hands and fingers, see, talk and hear.What We BelievePeople Are Our Capability Hearts That Serve Only Excellence Stay Nimble
