Senior Manager, Credentialing

This is a Contract position in New York, NY posted January 22, 2022.

ResponsibilitiesSupervise, motivate and delegate daily responsibilities to the Assistant Manager, Data Analyst and Credentialing teamReview applications and answer internal and external inquiriesEstablish and revise department workflows; authorize staff leave and prepare/analyze credentialing monthly reports and establish prioritiesDevelop and implement departmental policy and procedures and conduct monthly Credentialing committee meetingsPerform additional duties and projects as assigned by managementQualificationsBachelor’s degree required or equivalent years of work experience requiredMinimum six (6) years relevant experience in credentialing or managed care and three (3) years of supervisory experience requiredAble to gain proficiency in Provider database systems (i.e.

Cactus, QNXT)Knowledge of NCQA, URAC, JCAHO and CMS health standardsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain productive work relationships with various providers, departments, and professionals at all levelsDemonstrated organizational skills with ability to multi-task and follow upAbility to work well independently, handle multiple projects and assignments and follow through to completion
