Vice President of Business Integration and Transformation

The VP of Business Integration and Transformation will drive pre
– and post-merger integration activities by designing and implementing an integration strategy that supports ESL’s M&A activity.

We’re looking for an experienced leader who excels in partnering and influencing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This individual is operationally focused with the skill to simultaneously lead cross-functional integration efforts while ensuring acquisition targets meet/exceed their commercial objectives.

The position will also participate in the M&A transaction process as well as other initiatives spearheaded by the Corporate Development team.

The ideal candidate for this position will reside in the New York City area or Europe.

What you’ll do:
Provide leadership and program management for the successful integration of all acquisitions, delivering on all objectives to achieve integration and business results.
Responsible for design and execution of a wide spectrum of skills in the M&A integration field, such as compliance, acquisition-related governance, cross-functional due diligence, testing processes, integration assessments, and workshops
Partnership with key members of the acquired business unit and various constituents in the finance and human resources functions to execute integration plans.

Work closely with cross-functional leaders to lead and support organizational buy-in and integration of new businesses into our ESL culture
Responsible for all of the pre
– and post-deal project management with the ability to understand all the organizational inter-departmental dependencies to support the growth and evolution of ESL solutions
Strong leadership and project management skills are necessary in order to lead groups of senior team members, in addition to the ability to collaborate with other C-Suite Executives
Creation of M&A pre
– and post-deal frameworks, update our M&A playbook, and implement appropriate management accountabilities for use
Proactive escalation of issues so they can be addressed in a timely manner to meet business objectives and support business growth.
Liaise with human resources function to ensure clear personnel, organization and business integration plan including leveling job titles and compensation, reporting structure, and business priorities
What you need:
10+ years of progressive experience within M&A activity with at least 5 years of experience driving and leading M&A integrations
Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, global companies preferred
Candidate is a seasoned project manager and change agent at heart and excels in earning and creating buy-in, project planning, and bringing creative solutions to keeping a high growth company organized
Proven track record and experienced developing, implementing and scaling an M&A strategy
Ultimately, you will have a proven track record of delivering an issue-free integration strategy that realizes all deal goals.

To be successful in this role you must be able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization, at all levels, and be viewed as a team player with exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills
